I've lived in Las Vegas since it was an adults-only playground and the only thing for kids to do was circle the Circus Circus mezzanine with cheap stuffed animals they won tucked under their arms -if they were lucky. As a bored kid in the summer I'd call visiting headliners at their hotel, and 9 times out of 10 was connected to their room. Sammy Davis Jr. picked up the phone in his hotel suite and sent me an autographed photo. Now, that's Vegas, Baby! That started my interest in interviewing these seemingly accessible people. Since that initial start up I've talked with some of today's biggest stars, from Justin Timberlake to Celine Dion.

I've written in depth articles on many different subjects, such as the showgirl who co-founded the first Las Vegas Autism organization, cancer research and the original Hoover Dam workers who built one of the largest dams in the world.

As a working journalist, I attend most of the red carpet events in this celebrity filled city and have access to many of the headliners. I've dipped into most of the hotels' lavish spas and pools and had a nibble and a chat with some of this city's internationally famous chefs.
